Continuing to Underscore Its “Not Just Sorta Comfortable. Serta Comfortable.” Advertising Campaign

Hoffman Estates, IL (January 27, 2019) – Following a successful launch of the 2018 iComfort Hybrid collection, Serta maintains its number one position as industry sales leader and is unveiling a variety of products at the Winter 2019 Las Vegas Market. The mattress manufacturer is offering new products to meet every comfort need and budget across all its lines – Serta iComfort, Serta Perfect Sleeper and Serta SleepTrue, a new promotional line.

“We know consumer shopping needs have shifted when it comes to buying a mattress both online and in retail,” says Onney Crawley, Vice President of Brand Marketing for Serta. “To address these expectations, we’re making broad product introductions this year that build on our long-standing focus on comfort and simplifying collections to remain competitive in the marketplace and benefit our retailers.”

Key announcements include:

  • Serta® Perfect Sleeper® (Standard Queen SRP: $499 – $1,099 for innerspring, hybrid and memory foam models) – a new collection designed with input from the National Sleep Foundation* to deliver pressure-relief with an upgraded support system. New features include its HyperTouch™ Comfort System built right into the mattress surface for improved pressure point relief, individually wrapped coils extended to the edge of the bed for more support and durability, and advanced temperature management from engineered fabric designed to work with the body’s natural cooling system.
  • Serta® iComfort® (Standard Queen SRP: $1,119 -$1,499 for iComfort Blue 100 CT Gentle Firm and iComfort Blue CT 300 Plush and Firm respectively) – the two opening memory foam models have been redesigned with the manufacturer’s TempActiv™ Touch cover, which provides an instant cool-to-the-touch feeling.
  • Serta® Sleep True™ (Standard Twin and Queen SRP: $129 – $599 for innerspring and all-foam models) – a new promotional collection that will offer premium features at value price points, including individually wrapped coil support systems and premium foams.
  • Updated Adjustable Base Portfolio with more competitive price points ranging from $499 – $1,499 (suggested queen retail prices). This includes an all-new promotional $499 Motion Slim™ model, an updated version of the popular $799 Motion Essentials® model now featuring massage and USB ports and the premium $1,499 Motion Perfect® model with new seat extension technology.

The latest product collections from Serta will be supported with its “Not Just Sorta Comfortable. Serta Comfortable.” advertising campaign, with a focus on digital in its second year to better intercept and engage with consumers, and strengthened national promotions focused on key holiday periods.
