Easy to set up and eliminating the need for a box spring, the Serta Motion Air Adjustable Base enhances the comfort of your mattress. With a wireless remote that allows you to adjust the head and/or foot of the mattress, you can find an optimal position for sleep, work, and relaxing in bed; plus, it's beneficial for nursing mothers, too.

We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. When ordering directly through www.serta.com, most of our items will arrive to your home in 2-4 weeks. Typically, within 1 week of your order being placed, our delivery partner, RXO Logistics, will contact you to schedule out a delivery date and time based on when they expect to receive the product(s). Please note, we are not shipping to Alaska and Hawaii at this time.

Warranty

You should be able to rely on the quality of your rest night after night. That is why we offer a 20-year limited warranty that covers manufacturing and workmanship defects. If you do notice anything out of the ordinary, simply email us or call us at 1-888-557-3782 and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

Returns

Any purchase directly from Serta.com is covered under our 120-Day In-Home Trial. Starting on the day of delivery, we recommend sleeping on your new mattress for a minimum of 30 days to allow your body to adjust. In the event you decide this mattress isn't right for you, and you’re within the 120-Day In-Home Trial, contact us by phone or e-mail and we can coordinate a return. Please note that the 120-Day In-Home Trial applies only to purchases made on Serta.com.

What mattresses can be used on the base?

All of the mattresses that are offered directly through Serta.com will work well on the Motion Essentials adjustable base.

For any non-Serta mattresses, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to see if your mattress is adjustable-friendly.

Does the base need a box spring?

No, a box spring should not be used with this base as it would inhibit the ability to adjust.

Will the base required assembly?

Yes, the base will require assembly once it's delivered. Inside the packaging, you'll find a Quick Setup Guide that will walk through the steps of assembly.

What is the difference between a divided King and Split King frame?

A Divided King, also known as a Standard King Adjustable Bed Base, is split horizontally, where the head and foot of the bed are two separate pieces that must be attached together during assembly.

A Divided King Adjustable Bed Base is only compatible with a Standard King Mattress, as it only includes one set of motors.

A Split King Adjustable Bed Base is two Adjustable Beds that sit side-by-side. Each may be operated independently, or they can be synced together. In the event that you choose to use each base independently then you will need 2 mattresses.
