Standard twins are optimal for children and teens, especially those with limited bedroom space. As far as adults go, yes they can sleep on a twin, however it may feel too small for them to comfortably sleep on, therefore if space is an issue, we would recommend going with aTwin XLfor an adult.

While 2 adults could possibly fit on one, they wouldn’t be comfortable sleeping on it due to its limited width.

If your child's room is on the smaller side and they have outgrown their crib/toddler bed, we recommend the next step be a twin.
